Gus Powell- Prince Caspian
Prince Caspian is a story in the series The Chronicles of Narnia and I will be reviewing my reading experience with it as part of my continuing reviews of the series. It starts with a boy, Caspian, being an heir to the throne of Narnia, but his evil uncle King Miraz wants someone else to be the heir. With his mentor's help, Doctor Cornelius, Caspian flees the castle into the forest and with the help of talking beasts and the former rulers of Narnia, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, they defeat the King Miraz, and Prince Caspian becomes King Caspian.
This book is pretty enjoyable to read, although it is not nearly as good as the first three, it still brings the same feeling that all of the rest of the books bring. It continues on the stories of the 4 original characters, and also brings in a couple new ones. This is my fifth favorite of the seven books, that's not taking away from it, but that's just how it ranks next to the other ones in the series. I give it a 7.5/10.
Great Review! You did a good job of talking about the plot while still showcasing your opinion on the book.
