Hector Kircher - book 2

Since I liked the 1st book about hunger games, I read the second one as well: Catching fire by Suzanne Collins. If you don’t know what the hunger games is, it’s basically where people are split into 12 districts and they have to pick 2 people from each district to fight for their death. This installment starts with Katniss living in district 12, just like the 1st book. What’s different from the first book, however, is that district 12 is now a lot richer with money and food due to Katniss’s hunger games victory in book 1. And then, another hunger games tournament was held, with all the victors of previous games participating. This included Katniss and Haymitch. However, there was no victor in this hunger game. The only complaint I have about this book, and the hunger games series as a whole, is that the books are too long. I think that is understandable, though, because the books are a trilogy of a long, overarching story that wasn’t really meant for people to quickly read and write blog posts about. Anyway, I think this book is good. This post was written by Hector Kircher
